Physical Therapists provide prevention and wellness services, including screening and health promotion, and are involved in wellness initiatives that stimulate the public to engage in healthy behaviors. Physical therapists can provide these services to the asymptomatic public without a doctor's prescription.
Physical Therapists provide services to patients/clients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting form injury, disease, or other causes. According to Texas state law, physical therapists can see symptomatic patients for an initial evaluation only without a doctor's prescription. After that, any follow up treatments must be prescribed by an MD, DO, DDS, DPM (podiatrist), DC (chiropractor), or PA (physician's assistant).

- Services will be provided and billed directly to your insurance company at the out-of-network
rates. You are responsible for any unmet deductible and/or co-pays.
- Payments are made by the client directly to GOST at time of rendering of services. An invoice with all the codes the insurance company will need to reimburse the client is generated and given to the client. The client then submits it to their insurance company. The insurance company will then reimburse the client directly, usually at an out-of-network rate.
