"Fifteen years ago, the average American male golfer's handicap was 16.2. The average female golfer's handicap was 29. Today, the average American male golfer's handicap is 16.2 and the average female golfer's is 29. American golfer's have not gotten any better." - Dr. Bob Rotella, The Golf of Your Dreams
Something is still missing.
All the tools of the game won't help you reach optimum performance until your body is prepared to respond. BacktoGOLF is all about "A Better Golf Body".
BACKtoGOLF uses a biomechanical approach to examine how the body moves in space to support the golf club, NOT how to hit a golf ball. FIRST, the body
must be able to move to the proper positions to support the golf club, only THEN can the golfer respond to the teaching professional's instructions and achieve a more powerful and consistent golf swing.
The BACKtoGOLF physical therapist evaluates the golfer's ability to perform the golf swing motion by assessing the golfer's posture, flexibility, strength,
and balance. This information is gathered and analyzed during the initial evaluation and a customized program is developed.
The BACKtoGOLF training program addresses posture, flexibility, strength, balance, power and cardiovascular endurance, using cutting-edge golf fitness concepts and advanced training techniques from BACKtoGOLF.
At the conclusion of the BACKtoGOLF fitness program, each golfer will: Understand the importance of golf fitness in enhancing performance and preventing injuries so golfers can: Play better golf for a lifetime.Learn and perform golf-specific flexibility and strength training circuits that are easily adapted to the home or gym
environment.Appreciate the importance of proper nutrition/hydration on the golf course.Get fit and hit 'em straight!
